Useful Website links for Writers and Illustrators

more hearts

Children's writing is competitive. Crazy competitive.

And yet in the children's writing industry you will find
some of the most kind, compassionate and generous
people on the planet.

They share even with their competition.

I've benefitted from their generosity and I'm repaying some of it here.
This is a list of resources offered by other writers who care about
educating fellow creators.

Shutta Crum: zillions of resources on her website. Excellent handouts
and instruction on the writing process, including poetry.

Harold Underdown: Wrote an excellent book on the industry, and
maintains a website with everything you need to know about how
to get started on your dream to write and illustrate kids' books.
It's updated regularly with new articles and resources.

SCBWI: A great networking organization. It's because of an SCBWI
conference in NYC that I sold my first book.

This is a work in progress. More details to come.  :)
