So, my beloved Grandpa's last name was Codd.
I considered Grandpa my best friend before he died.
In his memory I have often done fishy art for his descendants.
This was a t-shirt design from a couple years ago.
Each image is a fishy-related pun (except for the big fish).
Can you figure them out?
Hint: deck of codds, a codd live royal (cod liver oil), greeting codd...

When he died his kids gave me a huge box filled with the cartoons
I'd sent him over the years, a commentary on daily life with my kids
and my stressful job. Someday I will compile them for a book,
because they're mostly funny.

For a long time I couldn't deal with them because it hurt so much
that he was gone.  But it's almost time for the book, now.  :)
