funeral rocks
These are from my dear friend's stomping grounds.
Two of slate from a lovely park with waterfalls
(she took Emily, 8, and me there last year)
and the middle rock is from outside the ice cream parlor
where she bought us treats. They're from Buffalo, NY.
We collected them the weekend of her funeral, Sept. 2006.
