Tomie dePaola -- SCBWI Mid-Winter Conference, Feb. 2005
and SCBWI Mid-Winter Conference, one year later, Feb. 2006

Tomie urged me to go to the 2005 conference, so I did.
Because I went and sketched the conference, I sold a book.
So I love Tomie dePaola.
