Chris Raschka -- Capital Area District Library, April 19-20, 2006

Just wanted to let everyone know that 2006 Caldecott winning
illustrator Chris Raschka ("The Hello, Goodbye Window") will be making
several library appearances in the Lansing area next week:
Wednesday, April 19 at 10 am (Webberville) and 7 pm (South Lansing),
and Thursday, April 20 at 7 pm (Haslett). If you've never seen him,
you're in for a treat--he is very charming and energetic! Books will be available
for sale and signing.

So I put it on the must-do list.
Unfortunately, my kid missed it due to a Girl Scout meeting.
Chris now lives in NYC but has ties to Michigan.
He lived in Ann Arbor for a while and his dad is from Detroit.
Chris abandoned a future in science to instead do art.
